Played from Launch
Anyone who has ever played an online game knows about World of Warcraft. At least, they should. When World of Warcraft came out less than 2 years ago, I was still playing LIneage 2 (GAH) and reminiscing about EverQuest. I met my husband on EQ, actually, so that game will always be special to me. But I digress. We (my husband and I) decided that we were going to try World of Warcraft. We started out with one account and one computer. Big mistake! Once we had each had a taste of the game, there was great wailing and gnashing of teeth when one wanted to play and the other was on the game...solution! Buy a new computer and a new account. So we did, and have been playing side by side ever since. We farm together and exp together and group together. It's awesome. We have characters on Durotan, the original server from day 1. We have made many online friends since we have played this game. Yeah, yeah, I know that they are "virtual" and could be completely different than what I think they are, but dammit we have fun! My husband and I consider ourselves very lucky that we both have a passion for online gaming. A lot of couples have the game come between them, whereas our gaming has given us something to do where we can spend time together. Please Post away here guys. I love talking about the game and the mechanics that I know. I'm a kick ass priest and not a bad mage either, in the game. I would love to talk to people who don't think I'm a freak for loving online gaming.
